Philip Sherman of Booster Cushion Theatre Company is a master storyteller. The command he has over his young audience extends beyond simply inspiring interest and maximising entertainment, he depends on audience involvement from the start. Beginning with a book with no pages, Sherman turns to his listeners to fill in the blanks. He plays all character,as they enter the story (which can occasionally be confusing) and passes a few on to members of the audience - at one point running auditions to be the wolf. A tireless performer, he has the knack of pitching an amount of material towards o1der age groups - whether they be kids or adults - ensuring a good time is had by all.
