Booster Cushion Theatre was Formed specifically to encourage primary age children to take more interests in books. Additionally we wish for children to have an enjoyable and rewarding experience by watching and taking part in a performance. Often BCT is performing and presenting Kids Theatre to children for their first time. As such it is so important that the whole experience is fun for the children. Somethings that kids will want to come back and see again. But to come back, the adults that brought them to a children;s performance have to see that their kids have enjoyed it. Hence participation has a tremendous role in clearly showing all adults, teachers, librarians, parents, arts officers, children's programmers, child minds and child careers that the show is working. Equally laugh out loud comdey gives a very clear indication that a theatre show is hitting the spot for its young aduience. Again this all leads to the theatre experience being positive and something that should be seen again by every young person. Eventually after many positive visits to the theatre and successful visits to their school, youth club, art center, local libary, park and adventure play ground the young children will grow to look out for and attend theatre productions and shows on their own account.

A comical version of Dickens' classic tale using a large pop up book, audience participation, humbugs and snow. Booster Cushion Theatre creates the scene with mime, voice and sign language. For 5 years old to adult. Merry Christmas... Bah! Humbug.
