Little Red Riding Hood and Friends
Red Riding Hood’s friend arrives to tell us the story but finds there are no pages in the book. He starts the story but gets it wrong. Cinderella comes to help, dancing the conga with her twin sister (found in the audience) and suggestsWolf auditions.
“Philip Sherman and Booster Cushion have developed an extraordinary fan base throughout the eight Royal Parks over the past 10 years that he has contributed to our summer children’s entertainment programmes. His wit, energy, originality and professionalism that suffuse his performances ensure that he has a loyal following not just from children but parents also. He is a pleasure to work with, is low maintenance, good natured and flexible. It is with great regret that the Royal Parks are no longer able to afford his services since our arts budgets and related posts have been cut. I can thoroughly recommend him.”
Alistair Raphael – Head of Arts, The Royal Parks, 2011

Since then Booster Cushion Theatre has performed to over 300,000 people in schools and theatres all over the country providing quality work with care and commitment.
We offer a theatrical experience very different from a traditional children’ entertainer, please see our reviews.
All of Booster Cushion Theatre for Children shows are solos using mime, voice and some sign language. Each is completely portable and can be performed inside or out, the technical requirements being minimal. We just need a performance space of 4m x 4m x 3.5m.
